Photography gifts for Easter

Forget the chocolate eggs, treat your favourite photography nut with one of these delights!

I know it isn't quite the done thing, after all Easter is about celebration following the hardship of Lent when fasting was the order of the day. Chocolate is delicious, I completely agree, but sometimes you can hanker for something else.  If your special person is a photography lover who can't travel far without a camera in his or her hand then it is maybe quite a good idea to get them a photography gift for Easter instead of (or as well as!) an Easter egg.

I previously posted a list of 10 Great Stocking Fillers for Photographers and any of the items discussed there are eminently suitable.  I have recently ordered a number of inexpensive goodies from PicStop and have been really impressed with the speed of delivery and products available.  They often have some great offers on so make sure you check out their 'Special Offers' tab.  One I've just spotted is for a 16GB SanDisk Ultra SDHC Memory Card for only £6.59 with free delivery too! I recently bought a few memory card cases, small plastic cases that fit a single memory card (of a variety of sizes) for only £1 each... great to hold spare memory cards while you are out and about.

If you are looking for something a little more generous a good online source is Wex Photo / Video who sell probably everything your photography friend could ever need. How about a new wrist strap, a cleaning kit or even a remote control switch for the ultimate selfies?

Here are some offers that will save you a bit of money at Wex too -

10% off batteries with code BATTERY0318
10% off memory cards with code MEMORY0318

Here is a quick run down of my top 10 gifts:-

1. Camera bean bag
2. Small tripod
3. Shutter release cable
4. Memory card
5. Memory card reader
6. Memory card holder
7. Filters
8. Camera spirit level
9. Camera bag
10. Fingerless gloves

All very useful and would be well received I think.  Happy Easter!

Another great place to check out for camera equipment and more is Park Cameras, they have a good used section too.
