Make a festive wreath for your door in 4 easy steps.
What you need:
- a few wisteria sticks
- string
- some bunches of herbs (thyme, rosemary, lavender, bay)
- garden twine / wire
- pine cones
- berries (I used some plastic ones, but you could use some holly with berries)
I found everything I needed to make this in the garden, apart from the red berries which I had rescued from an old Christmas wreath years ago! If you have holly with berries this could be used.
Step 1.
Start to weave the wisteria sticks together in a circle, twisting them together and tying with string where necessary.

Eventually you will have woven all the sticks in together.

Step 2:
Now take sprigs of the herbs, I used thyme, rosemary and lavender at first, then finished off with bay leaves. Just poke these into the twisted wisteria sticks so they look good and cover any of the string.

Step 3:
If you have found some pine cones, fasten these to the wreath with some wire, and do the same with any colourful berries you can find. Chinese lanterns would look good, adding a nice touch of orange. I also added a dried fern leaf.

Step 4:
Finally tie some string around the finished wreath and hang it on your door.
Very festive!
